The Itasca Workforce Alignment Team is comprised of employers, state agencies, and representatives from Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, the University of Minnesota, and private colleges and universities. It is co-chaired by MnSCU Chancellor Steven Rosenstone and Schwan CHRO Scott Peterson.

The team is making progress on designing a workforce planning tool to help colleges and universities better understand student, employer, and economic data about workforce needs. A key step in the project is to develop a baseline understanding of the data and functionality educators would find most valuable in a system like this.
