About you and your contract type

Dear Member,

We would ask you to complete this short survey in order for your TSSA reps to effectively plan a strategic approach for any action pending the result of the ballot over pay.

This is a secure survey that will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of the TSSA, we will not be asking which way you have voted in the ongoing ballot for action.

If the ballot result indicates a call for strike action then you are legally protected against dismissal for breaching your contract of employment by withdrawing your labour or taking any other action.

If the ballot calls for action short of a strike we need to ensure that any action that you undertake is well planned in order to have an impact on the business.

It is for this reason that we need to know the contractual position with regards to overtime and other areas of working out of hours of all our members in order to plan ahead for any action.

We thank you for your time in completing this survey.
