Project Title: Football Fans' Perceptions Of The Causal Factors Contributing To Their Team's Performance

This project is designed to examine football fans’ perceptions of the causes of their team’s performance.

You have been selected to take part in this project because you are a football fan. Football fans that support football teams outside of the English Premier League will not be able to take part in the project. Please ensure that you only complete this questionnaire once. You must also be at least 18 years old to participate in this study. If you are under 18, please do not proceed any further. For the purpose of this research, football matches that have ended in a draw are not of interest. If your team has drawn their last fixture and you would like to participate still, please return to the questionnaire at a later date when your team has either won or lost.

You will have to complete an online survey including two simple questionnaires asking you your views on how you feel about your team and what caused your team’s performance.

At no point throughout this project should you endure any physical discomfort.

At no point throughout this project should you endure any psychological discomfort or embarrassment.

Only my supervisor and I will have access to the responses that you have provided.

No financial rewards will be given out for your participation in this project, nor will travel expenses as travel is unnecessary.
