SURE (Summer Undergraduate Research Experience): 10-week science research program for undergraduates.
Program Dates: May 28-August 2, 2012, Emory University campus.
Application Due: Feb. 8, 2013.
Application Components: statement of interest [for non-Emory students) or research proposal [for Emory students], transcript, 1 letter of recommendation
Postbaccalaureate Research Experience Program (PREP): year-long, research-intensive pre-PhD program for underrepresented/disadvantaged students [per NIH definition]. Must have completed bachelors degree within 18 months of application due date.
Program Dates: July 2013-June 2014.
Application Components: statement of interest and research background, transcript, 3 letters of support Application Due: March 15, 2013
