Welcome to the application for the Adventures in Science Middle School Institutes for Spring 2014.
Remember, the two essay questions in SECTION 1 must be completed by the student. The rest of the application may be completed by a guardian.
Before you begin, make sure you know which courses you are interested in and the days/dates they are being offered for Spring 2014. For more information about the Adventures in Science Middle School Institutes, please click here.
Your application is not saved until this entire form is completed. Your application is complete only after you are shown the green "Thank You" page at the end. Please note that this is the only confirmation you will receive prior to our final selection. Applicants must currently be in 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grade.
Complete applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Remember, in order to be considered, your application must include thoughtful essays between 250 and 500 words in length (about 1-2 pages). We highly recommend reading the first page of the application, composing your essays in another program, then pasting them into the spaces provided. Students will be notified of acceptance/rejection via email approximately one month prior to the start date of the class. The application is eight pages long, so you should prepare information such as school addresses and emergency contacts in advance to avoid the possibility of having to start over.
When your application is complete, you will be taken to a "Thank You" page. This is the only confirmation you will receive for this submission. Please print this for your records. Due to the volume of applications, we are not able to confirm application status by email or phone until our selection process is complete.
