Introduction

To suggest a topic for potential scrutiny, issues suggested must:

Affect a group or community of people (scrutiny does not consider individual service complaints)
Not have been considered by a scrutiny committee during the last 12 months

Topics are more likely to be selected for scrutiny if they are:

Specific
Achievable
Likely to generate productive outcomes
Timely and relevant
Of public interest

Each year around January-March the scrutiny unit invites topics for possible inclusion in the work programme for the following municipal year (May-April).

If you would like to suggest a topic, please complete the online survey to suggest a topic for scrutiny form.
