2014 Reader Survey

Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is incredibly important to us.  Back in 2009 we had an idea. We weren't sure if it was a good one, but we went for it.  We wanted to provide quick bits of news, entertainment and opinion for Anne Arundel County and fill in the gaps between smaller local blogs and the laarger newspapers and broadcast media. 

We must have been onto something because by 2011, there were 14 Patch websites in the county doing a similar service. They went all corporate and subsequently fired all of their staff. Now a single woman in the Midwest maintains the shells of what were 14 Patches by pulling news from other sources including Eye On Annapolis.  Our secret sauce is that we are local. We live here. We eat here. We play here. We exercise here. We get speeding tickets here :(.  We are accessible and when you contact us, you usually get me!

Now here we are coming into 2015 and we have more than 70,000 people who "like" us on our Facebook Page, more than 20,000 who "follow" us on Twitter, nearly 7,500 subscribe to our newsletter,  and the website/blog sees, on average, about 180,000 unique visitors per month! In fact, by the end of the year, more than 5 million unique visitors will have read our website--and for that I say THANK YOU!  Without you, we could not have done it!

But, we are always striving to get better!  And that is where you come in.  We want to know a little bit about you, about how you use the site, and offer you an easy way to give us your two cents--good or bad!
