Diversity Management Qualifications Survey |
About this survey
Diversity@Work, a division of Aegis Services Australia is currently working with Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA) regarding the possibility of creating accredited business qualifications in the management of diversity in the workplace.
Diversity@Work has commissioned Acuto Consulting to seek feedback from employers, VET professionals and other stakeholders regarding the preparation and submission of a business case to IBSA.
Since 1995 Diveristy@Work has specialised in consulting with corporate Australia promoting the business benefits of diversity management especially with respect to productivity improvement and return on investment.
A recent survey of approximately 500 businesses, commissioned by Diversity@Work, has provided strong evidence that a "diversity conscious" organisation has significantly improved productivity, employee retention and operational performance than "diversity blind" organisations. A copy of the survey conducted by Melbourne business School and the University of south Australia, can be downloaded from (Acuto website link inserted here - subject to agreement from the university)
In addition, two significant legislative changes were introduced in 2012 making it imperative that employers are fully aware of their obligations and employee rights with respect to gender equality and anti-discrimination.
Please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey which will greatly assist in the development of essential diversity management skills to achieve a sustainable workforce.
