The Distinguished Alumni Award was established in 1971 by the Alumni Association to recognize Alumni who have made a significant contribution to their profession, society, and McMurry University. The nominee must be a graduate of McMurry University and must not be employed by the University.

supporting the University financially within their means, serving time in various capacities on
