Of the following possible albums, which would you be *most* likely to buy, and potentially support on Kickstarter?
Black Patch/Face of a Fugitive (1957/1959; Goldsmith's very first feature film score and his third, both westerns, both totally unreleased because the original recordings do not survive; relatively brief so should fit together on one CD)
The Chairman (1969; complex Asian-flavored action/suspense thriller score; complete original recording apparently has not survived the ages so we are otherwise left with the original LP album)
Ransom (aka The Terrorists) (1974; one of Goldsmith's earliest straight action scores; original tapes do no survive and we are left with possibly the worst-sounding Goldsmith LP program ever -- one side of it even in mono due to some error!)
Shamus/Pursuit (1973/1972; two of Goldsmith's best "mod" scores, according to Lukas Kendall "kaput as far as master tapes" and would make a great pairing)
Lilies of the Field (1963; Goldsmith's first score to ever be released on LP, but apparently the complete film recording is lost)
Thriller (1960-1962; Goldsmith wrote a number of wonderful scores for this anthology series, which are rumored to survive but there has been no official release of them as of yet)
Lionheart (1987; one of Goldsmith's greatest scores of the 80s with a sadly disappointing orchestral performance which necessitated synth overdubbing of some brass parts -- the complete score has been released in good sound quality but a new interpretation could really cause this score to shine!)
