The data book, published since 1970, is the standard summary of statistics on the social, demographic, and economic conditions of Washington state. It is designed to serve as a comprehensive volume for statistical reference for policy makers, planners, researchers, and the overall public.
Putting the Data Book together is a very time consuming process and we want to make sure we are using our time efficiently. We are conducting this survey so that we can better understand how the Data Book is used, what data is used (and perhaps what data is not used), and whether there are unmet needs that we can fill.
