The Master Lab is an advanced workshop open to accomplished filmmakers (Graduates of The Lab or other similar program) who have distinguished themselves artistically and want to continue to learn and grow as artists.
The training phase of the Master Lab is an 10-week "Boot Camp" that will equip students with advanced skills in producing, editing, cinematography and sound. Upon successful completion of the workshop, students will be eligible to apply for paid freelance positions with Reel Works Productions.
The production phase of the program begins in Spring 2013. Students will once again be matched with mentors who will support them as they film, edit and produce an original documentary or narrative film.
Space is limited. Applicants are strongly advised to meet with Reel Works staff before submitting your application. We are willing to review and advise you on your application prior to submission.
The Master Lab begins October 8, 2012 and runs until the end of April. In order to participate, students must commit to the full length of the program.
