This was a signup, but this is now CANCELLED. Only 2 signed up. Needed 10. Sorry. There are more training classes around town. Google: cub leader training atlanta and you will find links about other classes. And there is online training at www.MyScouting.org any time.
Was: this a "sign up survey" for Southern Crescent District Cub Leader Training on SATURDAY, August 23, 2014 (10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) at American Legion, 1483 American Legion Way, Jonesboro, GA 30236, at the corner of South Main Street.
The sessions noted below are a combination of "Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training", and instead of segregated sessions (for reasons noted below), this is "Pack Team Training", geared to give Den Leaders and Cubmasters and Assistants and Committee Members the knowledge and skills they need to have a fun and meaningful meetings for their Scouts.
We require "advance signup" because we will provide materials for attendees, and we cannot magically produce extra copies for people who "drop in", and the session doesn't work very well if there are just a few people (if we cancel for that, we'll direct you to alternate training sessions). The instructor requires 10 firm signups by then to put on this class -- and may move the location if there are 7 from a single Pack if they want it at "their" meetig place. And if we cancel for lack of signups or other emergency, we will ONLY notify those who signed up! The Sign Up Deadline is the WEDNESDAY before the session.
