Active Transportation Alliance is thrilled to welcome your registration to a capstone event for We Choose Health communities and Illinois Alliance to Prevent Obesity members on creating and sustaining momentum around a safe, healthy and active built environment. This workshop will focus on ways to continue your great efforts beyond the scope of We Choose Health, as well as introduce built environment strategies to newcomers, and we would be delighted if you would join us!
There will be two tracks:
Beginning: This track will present an introduction to the basics of Complete Streets. It is geared towards those with no prior knowledge of Complete Streets.
Intermediate: This track is geared towards We Choose Health Built Environment grantees and others with prior knowledge of Complete Streets. This session will focus on how to build and sustain interest in Complete Streets and healthy built environments in your community through utilization of new and existing resources.
