Clacksfirst BID Business Questionnaire

The Clacksfirst BID has been operational for over four years and during that time the BID team has successfully delivered virtually all of the projects listed in the BID Business Plan. The BID has also delivered a host of additional projects to benefit the business parks and will continue to do so for the remainder of the current term.
In March 2013 the voting process starts again when eligible businesses in the BID area will have the opportunity to either vote yes to continue with the BID delivering projects that enhance the business parks or vote no therefore bringing to an end the projects and services currently being delivered by the BID.
For example there would be no more Security Grants or Security Alerts as well as the cessation of Landscaping Work, Graffiti , Pallet and Litter Removal carried out by our partner agencies. Developments such as the Clacksfirst signage will not be maintained and will likely fall into disrepair as will the Clacksfirst CCTV Network that is soon to be installed and commissioned during summer 2012.
We cannot emphasise enough that should these projects be brought to an end they will not be replaced as no other agency is obliged to deliver them.
If you have taken advantage of the services delivered by Clacksfirst and made use of the BID to the benefit of your business or business park the only way to ensure that service remains is to vote YES during the BID re-ballot period.
Realising that the financial and business landscape has changed since March 2008 and with it certain priorities, Clacksfirst is coming to you asking what you would like to see built into the business plan that will assist in the smooth running of your business and have a positive impact on your bottom line.
This is your chance to influence the strategy and objectives of Clacksfirst

In keeping with policy the BID Business Plan for the coming years’ will feature those projects that the majority of businesses have prioritised based on the information gathered here.
