Project Purpose
The Avenue NYC Capacity Building program is intended to address the following issue in the targeted commercial corridor:
• Inability of smaller local development organizations or incorporated non-profit merchants associations (the “target organization ”) located in high need commercial corridors to execute desired economic development activities without technical and/or strategic assistance. Consequently, these areas lack overarching strategies and implementation plans that could enhance the commercial corridor’s ability to adequately service the local resident community and exist as a viable shopping destination.
The following questions are designed to determine how well your organization’s Capacity Building project will address the issue above.
