Residential Construction Upgrading and Retrofitting Practices Survey

As part of the Bushfire and Natural Hazards Cooperative Research Centre project “Improving the Resilience of Existing Housing to Severe Wind Events”, the Cyclone Testing Station is investigating typical residential construction retrofit practices related to upgrading existing housing stock for wind and water intrusion resistance for communities in Australia.

This survey is intended to gather input from a range of construction community members throughout Australia. Please answer questions to the best of your knowledge and submit your answers with the completion button at the bottom of this page.

Note: the term "retrofit" in this survey refers to any construction work performed on existing residential structures.
