2014 Colorado Nonprofit Space Survey |
Intro
Thank you for volunteering to complete the Colorado Nonprofit Facilities Survey, conducted by Denver Shared Spaces and The Nonprofit Centers Network. Typically, real estate and rental costs are the second largest budget item for nonprofits after staffing, while being among the most difficult to fund. Our organizations exist to equip organizations like yours with the knowledge to address space needs with mission-driven solutions.
We are building on research conducted by the Rose Community Foundation in 2001 in order to update their findings and analyze today’s space needs. As you can imagine, a lot has changed since 2001. Preliminary results will be shared in the fall.
This survey has been endorsed by The Boettcher Foundation, Caring for Colorado, Chambers Family Fund, The Colorado Health Foundation, Colorado Nonprofit Association, The Colorado Trust, Community Resource Center, The Denver Foundation, Energy Outreach Colorado, Gates Family Foundation, Mile High Community Loan Fund, The Piton Foundation, Qualistar Colorado, Rose Community Foundation, Urban Land Conservancy.
Instructions:
We invite all Colorado nonprofits to complete this survey. Please submit one response per organization. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, September 19th. The first 100 complete responses will be entered into a lottery for a $100 Amazon gift card. If you'd like to be entered into the lottery or receive a copy of the final report, please share your contact information where requested at the end of the survey.
This survey will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. It is helpful to have basic operational information like current lease terms, square foot occupancy, budget, and staff figures for your organization at hand when you begin the survey.
If you need to take a break during the survey, click the “next” button at the bottom of the page to save your work. To return to the survey, click the original email link from the same computer. Once the survey has been submitted, you cannot edit your answers.
