COABE Nominations

The Commission on Adult Basic Education (COABE) is 10,000 members strong and growing. Our Board of Directors is seeking qualified candidates for the COABE region 7 and region 8 representative positions.

Qualifications: experience on state level board preferred
Time Investment: approximately 4-5 hours per month
Travel and Compensation: the COABE board meets in the spring and fall, travel compensation up to $800 per meeting is provided. It is anticipated that board members' organizations will provide some level of support in terms of time commitment and fiscal support to attend board meetings and the COABE conference.
