Role:
Take a lead role in maintenance and coordination of content on EP Vantage site
Liaise with the editor, the marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and appearance
Write and publish some content for the site
Maintain publishing schedule for reports and special items
Manage and maintain of picture repository
Use web content management systems to analyse website usage statistics
Write reports for on web usage for editor and marketing
Organise permissions for site users
Assist in the promotion of the website to target customers and partners
Conduct quality assurance checks on content
Report and log technical problems to IT support staff
Train members of staff on matters relating to content management
Develop strategies for posting content on relevant social media sites
Actively engage relevant individuals and organisations on social media and monitor responses
Work with the user experience director to deliver Evaluate’s wider digital strategy
Educated to degree level
Knowledge of pharma and biotech industry essential
Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
An understanding of online writing issues, such as house style and content structure
An excellent grasp of English grammar, punctuation and spelling
The ability to write for a target audience
Creative skills to find interesting ways to present information and to generate new ideas
Attention to detail when proofreading
An understanding of legal issues, such as online copyright and libel laws
The ability to generate and present reports in Excel and PowerPoint
The ability to build relationships with clients and partners
Good team working skills
Self-starter able to generate and run with new ideas
The ability to give and receive constructive feedback on work
Start date: ASAP 12-18 months term
