Chicago Area LCI Seminar 2014

Chicago Area League of American Bicyclists Cycling Instructor Certification Seminar

A League Cycling Instructor Seminar is scheduled at the UIC Campus, Halsted St. and Taylor St., Chicago, IL, for August 22-24, 2014

This survey is to determine if there is sufficient interest to hold an additional LCI Seminar in or near Chicago in 2014, and to assess possible attendance on a few dates at a few locations.

Please respond if you wish to attend a LCI Seminar in 2014, or if your organization plans to send someone to an LCI Seminar in 2014. Responses by Saturday March 15 will help determine if it is possible to hold more than one seminar this year.

Which dates and locations are possible for you and do you have a strong preference for one of the options?

If you have not already taken a traffic Skills 101 class, one is required some time prior to the start of the Seminar. Approximately 10 hours preparation time are needed in the 30 days before the seminar. The seminar itself is 23 hours over a weekend. Approximately 8 hours of that are outside on a bike. Participants must be League of American Bicyclists members and pay a $300 tuition at least 30 days prior to the Seminar start date.
