Psychology/Sociology College Professors - $150 CASH

Entrust Research & Recruiting, LLC and Bentley University are recruiting instructors for a study of teaching approaches of instructors teaching an Introductory Psychology or Sociology course.

This study will take about one hour and will be conducted between February 4 and February 29, 2013 at your work environment. Instructors will receive $150 for their participation.

Your work environment should be wherever you perform the majority of your preparation for classes. This should generally be where you keep or bring your course preparation as well as grading materials such as a campus office or home office.

The data that we collect will only be used to help our client build a stronger learning platform.

During the study, we’ll ask you to provide opinions and feedback on your experience teaching IntroductoryPsychology or Sociology courses.

During the interviews, we will ask you some questions about how you prepare for Introductory Psychology or Sociology courses and grade assigned deliverables, including materials used for these purposes. These could include electronic or paper versions of any or all of the following: planners, class handouts, syllabi, textbooks, student papers or exams. If you use any software or online products to keep track of grading or course preparation, we will ask you to show us the products and walk us through the process that you use.

To be eligible, you must be willing to have 2-3 researchers visit your study environment for the duration of the interview. A researcher from our staff will lead you through the interview and we will videotape the entire interview. The recordings will only be used by the Bentley Design & Usability Center and our client to improve technology learning systems.
