The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers three programmes for students aged 3 to 19 to help develop the intellectual, person, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalising world. There are more than one million IB students at over 3,800 schools in 147 countries around the world. Upon successful authorisation, Cleveland District State High School will be one of only 63 schools in Australia to offer the IB Diploma Programme.

Cleveland High recognises leading in a global age requires educators to work with students with an eye on what they will need tomorrow. Providing an overarching framework for global education is critical to the future of Cleveland High students. We are investigating if the IB Diploma Programme, combined with our status as a CIS-accredited International School, may be able to help our staff provide a learning environment that prepares students for a globalised future.

Additional information on the IB Diploma Programme can be found at: http://www.ibo.org/diploma/
