The City of Miami, Florida is currently conducting a study concerning fair housing. Known as the "Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing" (AI), the analysis is required by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) as a condition of receiving federal housing and community development funds. Our goals are to identify whether barriers to fair housing choice exist in the City of Miami in the rental and real estate markets. Further, this study will look into private and public policies and practices that may lead to housing discrimination.
The AI process includes gathering the opinions of persons involved in the housing industry in the City of Miami, including renters and homeowners. As such, you are being asked to take part in this analysis.
