In August 2014 the Contra Costa Health Officer expanded an order requiring employees of residential facilities for the elderly to receive an influenza vaccine or wear a mask while providing services or working in client care areas. In an effort to better understand your experiences and needs regarding this order, the Communicable Disease Program is conducting a survey of all Residential Facilities for the Elderly in the county. We hope to measure the implementation and effect of the order on client health as well as determine ways in which we can assist and facilitate your efforts.
