I Will if You Will - Stakeholder consultation |
I Will If You Will (IWIYW) is a campaign to get the women and girls of Bury moving. It’s about getting together, encouraging each other to try something new and having fun while doing it.
The IWIYW project started in September 2013, with an official launch in January 2014 and a lot of activity has taken place during this time.
Over 7,500 new participants now take part in IWIYW activities
Over 70 Community Champions have been recruited to volunteer and promote activities to friends, colleagues and communities
Over £30,000 has been allocated to local community groups to engage with women and girls
Over 1,000 women and girls have learnt to swim, gained water confidence and accessed the mobile swimming pool
Over 60 people have been trained, upskilled and qualified to deliver activities for IWIYW
Over 400 people have pledged to get active for 30 minutes a week, for at least 10 weeks
This questionnaire has been developed to gauge perceptions of stakeholders, partners, professionals and community groups regarding Phase 1 of the IWIYW project and to help inform plans for a two-year Phase 2, which will start in January 2015.
