Project Purpose
The Avenue NYC Business Attraction and Retention program is intended to address the following issues in the commercial corridor:
• High level of retail vacancies, that undermine the corridor’s position as a viable shopping destination for resident-consumers;
• Unsatisfactory and/or low quality retail mix that fails to attract resident-consumers with diverse preferences;
• High merchant turnover on corridor due to new or evolving resident-consumer base.
The subsequent questions are designed to determine how well your organization’s Business Attraction and/or Retention project will combat the issues above.
