FRIENDLY REMINDER:
Citizens of the U.S. and many other countries require a travel visa to enter Brazil. Visa requirements and processes vary by your country of citizenship, the type of activity you will engage in and the duration of your stay. Do not wait until the last minute to learn about your travel visa requirements. While some travel visas are simple to obtain others require police background checks and formal letters of invitation. If you require a Brazilian visa, you can apply for it either directly with a Brazilian Consulate (there is one in Boston), or via one of the two visa agencies recommended by Harvard.
