In partnership with The Board Catalyst℠ Institute, a division of Aly Sterling Philanthropy, The Andersons will sponsor two organizations to participate in The Board Series℠ through a scholarship program. The Board Series℠ program educates and enables non-profit boards to reach their full potential of leadership and engagement.
These organizations will be selected to participate in The Board Series℠ Fall 2012 in Toledo, Ohio (in-kind value - $2,200 per scholarship).
Eligible organizations must:
Be designated by the IRS as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) corporation
Serve communities in Northwest Ohio
Have by-laws or a code of regulations
Submit request using the attached application form
Agree to being used as a case study during the series, and progress reports up to six months after the conclusion of The Board Series℠
In order to be considered for a scholarship, applying organizations must first register for The Board Series and pay the $500 deposit. Organizations awarded a scholarship will be receive a refund of their deposit.
