B'nai Amoona: Assessing our Building and Land

Thank you for completing this survey that will help us plan for the future of our building and site. Our building has served our congregation well for over three decades. It’s hard for some of us to believe it’s been so
long! But thirty years into the life of any major building is a good time to assess its condition and consider what might need repair or replacement to ensure its continued service. Also, the needs of our congregation change, and spaces that worked well for the B’nai Amoona of 1985 might not serve the congregation of 2015 and beyond. Your participation in this short survey is one of many steps in a process that will help us identify and address the needs and opportunities presented by our building and site.

Parts of this survey will address four separate areas:

• The Sanctuary Building, the Banquet Hall, and supporting rooms. The interior of the main sanctuary is not part of this assessment.

• The Tober Building, including religious school classrooms, the child development center, chapel, Judaica shop, youth lounge, auditorium, kitchens, and supporting rooms.

• The Connector Building, the concourse that links the Sanctuary and Tober Buildings.

• The Site, including all of our outdoor spaces, parking lots, playing fields, gardens, and so forth
