Dear Aspiring or Beginning Farmer,
This is a request for you to take part in this 2015 West Virginia Beginning Farmer Survey. Your input is very important to us and greatly appreciated. The information you provide will help us better understand what types of interest there is, the challenges faced, assistance needed and ideas for future programs to better serve beginning farmers in West Virginia.
Your participation in this online assessment will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
The survey must only be completed by an individual 18 years old or older. Participation is voluntary, and participants will not be identified. Responses are confidential and will not be connected with specific individuals or operations. Data provided will be summarized by researchers involved in the study and reported as summary statistics. You may skip any question that you do not wish to answer and you may discontinue at any time.
This brief survey, and the resultant programs, is a collaborative effort between West Virginia University Extension Service, West Virginia State University, West Virginia Department of Agriculture, the WV Farm and Food Coalition, and the WV Veterans to Agriculture Program.
