Seattle Tourism Ambassadors are members of the local tourism industry who love their jobs – professional or voluntary - and regularly go above and beyond to serve and assist visitors and promote the industry and the city. Additional attributes include but are not limited to:

•Tourism is a significant component of the nominee’s work, whether professional or voluntary

•Loves their job and is a natural promoter of Seattle

•Regularly goes above and beyond to promote the destination and to serve and assist visitors

•Maintains direct contact with visitors

•Proud to proclaim tourism’s benefits (personal, professional and community)

•Represents the tourism industry with the highest professional standards, serving as an example to peers and a mentor for new tourism industry professionals

•Advances the tourism industry as a whole and advocates for its causes

•Serves as an example of achievement and success within the tourism industry


*Nomination Deadline: Thursday, December 18, 2014 no later than 5 p.m. Nominees are not judged on the number of nominations received but by the quality of nominations submitted.
