Skills Needed to Help MSCs Become Care Coordinators

As OPWDD transitions to a managed care model, many MSCs will become Care Coordinators. The Care Coordinator will still do linkage and referral, but will need to fit all services into a budget. The WNY Institute was awarded a grant to develop curricula to help prepare MSCs to do this job. We'd like to hear from you about the types of skills you think you will need to become a Care Coordinator. We will use your input to design workshops.
