Introduction
In 2011, a partnership of I2SL, the buildingSmart Alliance (bSa), and IFMA’s R&D Council gathered to discuss the future of how the Building Information Model (BIM) is being developed to support and facilitate building operations and building owners.
This survey’s intent is to document the interest and knowledge in how BIM is impacting your work today, where it may lead us tomorrow, and to share that information with building operators, building owners, and building designers.
The organizing partners and their committees invite you to spend some time with the survey. Please review the educational materials offered to stimulate discussion and to answer the questions as they are relevant to your experiences and workplace environments.
Filling out the survey will take you no longer than 3-4 minutes (unless you also want to see all the educational videos we've embedded into the survey).
