Definition of Survey and Core Values Statement

The purpose of this survey is to find out what people think about values and ethics as they relate to autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities. The survey is part of a process to create a Core Values Statement for the Autism NOW Center.

Some of the questions on the survey will be about what you think about values and ethics. Other questions will ask general information about whether people who are taking the survey have disabilities, are parents, and other questions. The survey should take less than an hour to complete. If you decide you do not want to complete the survey, you can close the window or click "exit survey" in the upper right-hand corner.

Core Values are "principles that guide how an organization behaves." The survey will help the Autism NOW Center make guidelines for how it runs. The survey will help the Center work with the autism, Autistic, and developmental disabilities communities.

This survey is confidential. The survey will not record your name or other information that could identify you. The survey will be seen by Autism NOW staff and Autistic Self Advocacy Network staff for purposes of looking at the answers to see what people think. We will not be able to tell who wrote the answers.

The Autism NOW Center is a national project of The Arc. It is funded by a grant from the Administration on Developmental Disabilities.
