The data you provide in this survey will be used to create a new ungulate mixed-species handbook. We greatly appreciate your time and participation.
Please keep in mind that this survey is meant to gather key points about the history of ungulate mixed-species exhibits at your institution. We greatly appreciate and encourage any and all detailed records that you can provide, but we realize that there is a need to balance the gathering of historical data with the time it takes to fill out the survey. If you would prefer to provide brief information, such as lists of species compositions at particular points in time of the exhibit you are describing, that is appreciated, but we are interested in identifying the unique and interesting features of your exhibit’s entire history as well. The utility of the handbook we produce will be dependent on both the quality and quantity of information gathered from institutions.
This survey in its entirety does not need to be completed in one sitting. Once you finish entering information for one enclosure/exhibit, the last question will ask if you have any additional exhibits to add. If so, you may choose to enter those immediately or you can indicate that you will return later and complete another survey with the information for the additional exhibit(s). If you choose to return later, make sure you submit each completed page (you’ll see the option to ‘Submit and Move to Next Page’ at the bottom of each page). After you indicate that you will return to complete the survey for additional exhibits later, please follow the prompts to the end of the survey form.
