6. Are you currently taking insulin?
7. Are you currently taking any oral diabetic medications (e.g., metformin)?

Do you take any of the following medications: e.g. beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, diphenhydramine or cyproheptadine (allergy medications), lithium carbonate, corticosteroids, thiazolidinediones ( Actos, Avandia or Avandamet), sulfonylureas, biguanides, meglitinides, incretins, sodium valproate, or thyroid replacement therapy?
9. Are you currently pregnant or breast-feeding?
10. Do you have a nut allergy?
11. Do you have any other food allergy?
12. Do you consume any of the following foods items daily: nuts (almonds, macadamia nuts, etc.), nut butters, avocados, olives, cooking or salad oils, margarine spread?
13. Will you be able to maintain your current diet and physical activity for a consecutive 12 weeks?
14. Do you train athletically to compete?
15. Are you willing and are able to travel to the ASU Downtown Campus or Tempe Campus to meet with the research investigators on four separate mornings?
16. Are you willing to have a fasting blood draw (fast 10-12 hours prior to blood draw) on 3 separate occasions?
