Thanks to all AAHPM members who heeded the call to join or renew their membership in the American Medical Association (AMA) and help ensure the Academy's continued representation in the House of Medicine.
AAHPM's membership status will soon be reassessed to see whether the Academy meets the requirement that 20 percent of its practicing physician members are members of the AMA. As such, it is critical that we identify all AAHPM members who are also members of the AMA, even if those members did not list Hospice and Palliative Medicine as their designated specialty when joining the AMA.
