2010 NNEDV Firearms Protections Training |
1. 2010 NNEDV Firearms Protections Training
Thank you for accessing the 2010 NNEDV Firearms Protections Training: Strengthening Firearms Protections Through a System-wide Response.
Participants will learn the basic laws that impact firearms possession, the responsible agents for executing the protections, and best practices for developing a coordinated response.
The training will help coalitions collaborate with the appropriate state and local stakeholders and will increase coalitions’ ability to work with agents responsible for correct implementation. Coalitions will be able to bring toolkits and materials back to local programs to ensure that best practices are disseminated across the country.
This is an Office on Violence Against Women approved training. Grantees can use their OVW training funds to support travel and lodging.
