Innovation in Housing Survey

This survey has been prompted by a discussion on Twitter that has taken place over the last 24 hours prompted by Paul Taylor at Bromford who wrote a piece for Inside Housing on how HAs should consider the use of Drones to cut down the cost of Estates Management.

To summarise the the discussion, one party suggested that Housing Associations weren't innovators and built/managed houses and collected rent whereas a number of other parties suggested that actually
Housing Associations were so much more than that; they were Builders/Supporters of Communities, supporting digital inclusion, helping tenants get employment and so much more and in fact, many Housing Associations are hotbeds of Innovation.

Using "tech" i.e. this survey software plus the power of social networks, I'd like to collect together examples of innovation in Housing Associations. Doesn't have to involve technology BUT has to have BENEFITED and IMPROVED THE LIVES OF YOUR CUSTOMERS.

It can be as little or as much info as you want to provide and we'll collate, present AND SHARE the INNOVATION back to you.

Let's see who was right?

Cheers,

Nick
