2015 Spring Conference Silent Auction & Raffle |
Increase your booth traffic while supporting WASBO's involvement at ASBO International. Proceeds from the Spring Silent Auction and Raffle provide grants for WASBO members serving on ASBO committees and assistance to candidates for the ASBO Board! To generate extra exhibit hall activity and raise these funds, Spring Conference exhibitors and attendees are encouraged to donate an item. Here's how it works:
1. Let us know you are donating an auction or raffle item by filling out the form below. Past auction/raffle items have included gift cards, gift baskets, electronics (TV, iPad, eReader, etc.), sporting or theater event tickets, logo wear, or vendor products or services. Think about tying the conference game show theme into your item for added fun and interest. Suggested minimum value is $25.
2. If you are exhibiting, your auction/raffle item is displayed at your booth. We provide the auction form or a bag for collecting raffle tickets. Booths participating in the silent auction/raffle are identified in the conference program. Conference attendees will be provided with your company name and booth number. Attendees will need to stop by to see your donated item, but will not be told in advance what your item is. This publicizes the auction/raffle and promotes traffic to your booth!
3. If you are not exhibiting, we will have a designated area in the exhibit hall for displaying your prize. Please bring your item to registration.
4. Attendees and exhibitors alike can purchase raffle tickets or place auction bids, with all proceeds going toward our ASBO participation fundraising efforts. Ticket holders/bidders tour the exhibit hall and drop off their tickets or place their bids at the booths that are displaying the items they'd like to win.
5. At 3:35 pm on Thursday, May 14 conference staff members collect the prizes, tickets and bid sheets from the participating booths. Winners for each prize are revealed as part of the networking reception during the last hour of the exhibits on Thursday, May 14. (Individuals must be present to be eligible to win.)
Remember: if you wish to participate by donating a prize for the drawing, please complete the form below by Monday, April 27 so we can be sure to list your organization appropriately in the conference program and the exhibit hall map.
