The City of Kingsburg has been looking into potential areas for a community dog park where dogs can exercise and socialize with other dogs. There are three locations of interest: 22nd Ct and Solig St; Heritage Park; and Golden State and Laurel St (behind Kingsburg Vet Clinic). Only a portion of the selected location will be fenced in to confine the off-leashed dogs, maintained to insure cleanliness and safety, and limited to hours of use to provide noise abatement to the immediate neighborhood. Cost to set up a dog park has been discussed with City Council and residents and will be covered by City Council, fundraisers by interested residents, and financial commitments from sponsors.

Feedback from all residents (dog owners and non-dog owners), but especially from those close to a location, who are concerned about property value and quality of life, is crucial. Please refer to the map for each location before filling out the survey.
