Today's question pertains to the outcome of Boston Scientific's upcoming FDA’s Circulatory System Devices advisory panel on December 11, 2013 for the company's anti-stroke Watchman heart implant. The Watchman implant, already available in 30 countries, is introduced via catheter and threaded into the heart to close off the left atrial appendage and capture any blood clots that may form there.
Note: for the purpose of this survey, a 9-0 decision with one abstention would be considered a majority decision, but not unanimous.
