Call for Proposals Submission Deadline: 5:00 pm, Friday, February 27, 2015

We are asking all who work or study in the field of evaluation to consider submitting a proposal sharing your work in evaluation practice or theory at the annual Spring Exchange of the Ohio Program Evaluators’ Group (OPEG). The submission deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2015.

The OPEG Spring Exchange provides professional development and networking opportunities for Ohio evaluators and those interested in evaluation in a number of ways: 1) presentation(s) by state or national experts that are tied to the conference theme; 2) presentations by Ohio evaluators focusing on the conference theme as well as issues related to evaluation practice; 3) lunch and breakfast on premises providing you with time to catch up with colleagues and make new connections; and 4) the annual business meeting to update you on OPEG activities past, current, and future.

This year’s theme is 35 Years of OPEG: Making a Difference Past, Present, and Future. The focus is on the impact evaluation has had in the past, now and in the future, whether it be through the way the programs are implemented, the outcomes they achieve, or the broader impact they have.

The year 2015 marks thirty five years of OPEG supporting Ohio’s evaluators through technical training, sharing of evaluation techniques, and networking. The theme for this year’s Exchange is to encourage evaluators to share techniques that have worked for us in the past, techniques that we are using now that may not have been available in the past, and techniques that we possibly could or should be using in the future. Submit a proposal to share effective methods, techniques, and skills for evaluating programs and communicating evaluation results to evaluation stakeholders.
