Mission Statement:
The Philadelphia Area Chapter Meeting Professionals International is a regional professional organization dedicated to serving the diverse needs of the meetings industry through a commitment to excellence and the growth and development of its members by providing a variety of educational, informational and networking forums.

Who is PAMPI
Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the world’s largest association for the $102.3 billion meeting and event industry, is committed to positioning meetings and events as a key strategic component of an organization's success. The Philadelphia Area Chapter of MPI, established in 1978, empowers its members to increase their strategic value with education, professional development and business growth opportunities.

Basic Requirements
PAMPI is a diverse organization with approximately a 60% planner membership and 40% supplier base. 86% of our members are located in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Bucks Counties in Pennsylvania and Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Gloucester, and Mercer Counties in New Jersey. The remaining 14% of our members come from the Pocono’s, central Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC, and even Ontario, Canada.

This Call for Speakers requests proposals for the Education Institute on May 18, 2011 at the Enterprise Center at Burlington County College in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Education Institute is our chapter’s one day education activity with breakout sessions and supplier exhibits. The annual event brings over 100 meeting planners and suppliers out to network and learn.

As a speaker, you will gain exposure to program attendees as well as our entire membership base through a variety of sources – brochures, announcements, website listings and email blasts, and our social media outlets on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
