With World Cup fever taking hold, the FE Week team wanted to harness the power of Pele, the magic of Maradona and the brilliance of Beckham to raise a smile in the sector, but more importantly raise some money for the Helena Kennedy Foundation (HKF).
We want to hear your predictions of who will win, and who will come second, third and fourth — correct entrants stand to win a year’s free subscription to the newspaper along with an FE Week mug.
If 500 people send in their predictions, FE Week will donate £250 to the Helena Kennedy Foundation — a further 500 entrants will see a final £250 donated by FE Week. All entries must be submitted by Tuesday, June 17 — the day the second set of first round games kick off.
The Helena Kennedy Foundation exists to overcome social injustice by providing financial bursaries, mentoring and support to disadvantaged students from the further and adult education sectors, enabling them to complete their studies in higher education.
