Helping animal shelters is fun!
Rescue Rebuild is a shelter renovation program that recruits volunteers from all over the country to help animal shelters in need. We travel to selected shelters and spend one to two weeks working to complete general repairs and renovations.
Rescue Rebuild is always recruiting volunteers to help us with our builds. We do anywhere from 5-50 builds a year, and there's a good chance that before too long, there will be one in a town near you.
By filling out this volunteer application we will add you to our database. When we schedule our next build, you'll get an email letting you know. If there is nothing near you or that you are capable of traveling to but you really want to help, we may provide travel assistance throughout the year for certain projects.
While Rescue Rebuild may be at a particular shelter for two weeks, volunteers are not required to be there for the whole trip. Participate for one day or the whole two weeks...the animals will appreciate any amount of time you can give.
