The UK Government has set out plans for a nuclear new-build programme, delivering 16GW of new nuclear capacity by 2025. Oxford Economics and Atkins, an engineering consultancy, have been tasked by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) to provide an overview of the current capabilities of the UK nuclear supply chain and an assessment of how the proposed new-build progreamme may impact UK-based members of the supply chain. The results of this analysis will support the development of the UK Government's Nuclear Supply Chain Action Plan to maximise the benefits of the new-build programme for UK companies and the UK economy.
To that end, we seek information from organisations that currently provide and those organisations that have ambitions to provide the products, equipment and services related to the construction of a nuclear power plant or other areas of the nuclear sector.
