Owner Entry Requirements - Contractor Survey |
1. Introduction/Instructions
This survey is due by March 15, 2010!
It has been 17 years since plants in our region came together, and agreed on a common safety orientation for contractors and tasked the Safety Council of the LA Capital Area to deliver the training. It has been 12 years since the inception of the Association of Reciprocal Safety Council (ARSC) and our areas’ adoption of their common Basic Orientation Plus (BOP) program.
In addition to safety requirements for contractors, over the last 12-17 years, plants have added requirements for drug testing, criminal background checks, craft skills certification, and more.
Therefore the GBRIA Safety, Health and Security Committee has formed a new taskforce to re-examine plant requirements for contractors to enter facilities. With all the new requirements, many plants have observed that there are significant opportunities for streamlining and cost savings to industry.
In order for the committee to be effective, we need your input on the following survey. Thank you for your participation!
