Regional Foodshed Survey

Thank you for taking the time to fill out our BRIEF survey about our regional foodshed. The "region" includes the states where Future Harvest-CASA operates - Maryland, West Virginia, Northern Virginia, Delaware and Southern Pennsylvania. You could also consider it 100-150 miles around the Baltimore - Washington, DC city centers. And by "foodshed" we mean the food system in this region. The Maryland Department of Planning describes the food system as "… the entire process of getting food to people for consumption, and includes production, processing, marketing, distribution and selling." We are looking to folks in our region for their perspectives on how we are doing with our food system, and ideas for improvement. Your responses are being collected as part of an initiative to develop a plan to strengthen the local foodshed. Thank you again for your time!
